The Final Showcase

On 13th of June the final showcase will be at the Bassline in Paradiso. Two RnB acts will perform: Juanita and Ebony-Impact. And two HipHop acts, Trapminds and Amon, will also perform. They are all chosen from four trial rounds. The jury made its selection with the following points: repertoire, originality, techniques and delivery.

The 'WANTED' talent shows are a production of the GRAP foundation. They want to give young talent a platform to perform and a chance to have experience with the bizz. From every selected act Rhythm Import will release a CD-single. And one band will receive a wild card for the (Dutch Big Price) Grote Prijs van Nederland. Foundation GRAP reflects a realistic image of the main stream music bizz. Putting an image of a prostitute kneeling down on a mattress starting to get the job done. Knowing what it is, the main stream music bizz is a pimp bizz.

Grap means joke in Dutch. We as ART12 have a funny relationship with GRAP. We had some troubles with the press/guest lists in the past. This time it was promised to us we were on the guest lists of all competing rounds. But hey, it's a GRAP; the ART12 reporters couldn't get in at the last fore round. ART12 was not on the guestlist. We will be at the Final to let you know if we're able to get in. And if we did, we will let you know who won.
